Running | Anywhere/Anytime

[Her breath falls away in heavy puffs as she moves through the streets. She doesn't know where she is, where she's going or where anyone else is. She remembers being at the inn but like ice it's melted away leaving her in a new place. The smells are strange and there is an empty chill in the air she can't shake. She doesn't like this place and she doesn't want to stop moving.

Her steps are almost silent though there are moments when her pace becomes frantic as if being chased by an invisible beast. She pauses rarely and when her legs feel like they might give out she runs.

Freya still has her backpack with her. Even in sleep she doesn't let it go and now she can feel the weight of it's belongings. How long has she been running?]

Hospital | Heaven -> Hell

[Hospital's in these situations bring horror or answers. Despite Freya's flighty nature she tries to keep her focus forward. It's just as creepy as the rest of this damn town. She walks slowly now, not willing to run blindly with so many tight corners.

She pauses when she spots a figure at the end of the hall. It looks like a nurse though it isn't moving. An uncomfortable smell reaches her nose and she stares in horror at the woman. That's when she hears the siren. She already knows what it means but her feet refuse to move. The walls peel and the scents change from a discernible lack of smells to death and decay.

Freya's hand claps over her mouth as the woman at the end of the hall begins to move. Her limbs gyrate uncomfortably yet it appears that the stranger is blind. Freya inhales an audible sharp breath and the nurses head moves to stare at the wolf who's currently acting like a deer in headlights.]

Church | Heaven

[Finally free, finally safe.

She breaks the thresh hold of the church and pauses at the sight in front of her. It's a church but it's set up like some sort of sacrificial ceremony. She tries to slip to the side and remain against the far wall, her heart pounding frantically in her chest.

Nothing about this place is okay.]

01; Around the Inn - Exterior
[Day and night have little meaning in a place where the sun never rises, but Matias has fallen into a fairly steady routine. He's never certain how long he sleeps, but he rests when he's weary and has set a task for himself. If they're going to stay here, they need supplies aside from food. He's no stranger to salvage runs.

The change that's come over the forest isn't lost on Matias, but his animal instincts are strong, as his is connection to Johnathan, and something tells him he should let the druid take a look at the growth before he steps foot there. It feels...wrong somehow. Instead, he'll busy himself doing something he knows.

Anyone will hear the sound of sawing and hammering outside as he works in repairing a hand cart he found out back. What he's planning on doing with it is anyone's guess.
]

02. Around the village - Various Empty Houses
[What Matias is doing with that hand cart now is filling it up with things he finds in locations that could be useful: tools, clothes, cloth drapes, materials. Anything they could use around the inn. He'll be moving around to various parts of town and can be found doing this, that, or the other thing in regards to collecting stuff.]

01. The Dining Room
[Ever since the cookies started showing up, Cat has made it a point to look outside every time she woke up. She called it morning, even though it might not have been. There was no light or dark period here, so she slept when she was sleepy, and woke up when she wasn't anymore. She also made it a point to make breakfast for everyone she knew to get up around the time she did, and that's what they would find today, as well. There was sliced meat (of the shadows, which tasted a little weird, but it wasn't too bad), eggs, water and tea. She hadn't found any coffee yet, but she'd try again later. Maybe she could ask someone to go out with her and see if there was anything in any of the other buildings, but she knew better than to go alone.

They'll be greeted by a friendly smile, whenever someone comes into the dining room, whether it's summoned by the smell of food, or just curious about the sounds. She hasn't found any new clothing, though, so she's still in a white tank top and Tinkerbell pajama pants.
]

Good morning! Are you hungry?

02. Edge of the Forest
[This morning, she woke up to find there were no cookies in sight, but she could see, through the gloom, a hint of something she thought she'd never seen again. Green! The forest was better? How? After breakfast, she had to satisfy her curiosity. As she got closer, it felt like something was off, but she didn't think anything of it. This entire place was off. It'd felt and smelled off since she showed up here. Why would this new development be any different? Besides, it was so pretty! All it needed was the sun dappled onto the undergrowth to make the picture perfect.

A rustling from that same undergrowth caught her attention as she neared the edge of the forest, and she sniffed deeply. Her wolf senses didn't catch anything out of the ordinary, at least nothing more out of the ordinary than usual for this place. She screamed shrilly in alarm when a vine darted from the undergrowth and wrapped around her wrist. She looked down at it in shock, too stunned to shift, too stunned to scream, until another took hold of her other arm.

She twisted and writhed against their grip but they were too much even for her strength. Her cries were pleading as she began to panic and the vines began to drag her in...

( Outskirts of Town | Arrival - I believe this is what a psychotic break feels like )
[One moment ago, Corbin had closed his eyes for exactly two seconds against the pain of an encroaching headache brought on by over-thinking far too much information. What had happened over those next few moments was lost on him. He didn't remember falling asleep, and looking back later would realize how impossible it would have been for him to do so considering the circumstances, and yet, the next moment, he felt the world fall away, the constant pressure of one of the oldest and most powerful wells of power in the world was gone, replaced with an emptiness just as solid, just as pressing, just as insistent. It rolled in his gut and he turned to the side, the burning there forcing him to hurl, though his stomach was mostly empty.

He slowly slid his eyes open, groaning as he blinked into the gloom. Nothing caught the attention of his senses. At all. The blades of grass beneath his fingers were brittle, dry. It was though he'd somehow woken up in a nightmare. Still stunned by his new and vacant surroundings, he didn't notice the lumbering, monstrous pastry until it snapped a dry twig not ten feet from him.

He turned suddenly at the sound and looked up, squinting into the faint light. Reflex alone allowed him to roll out of the way of the confectionery beast and it slammed down it's sugary arms at his head. He's a scientist, not a fighter. All he knows is to run, and he doesn't bother trying to climb to his feet, opting instead to scramble away from the biscuit as quickly as possible.
]

( At the Inn - Indoors | Brilliant to see they have food. I'll pass on the cookies, thank you )
[Unlike any other time Corbin has ever proceeded toward civilization, this trek didn't produce a worse and worse feeling of loss the further he was from nature. It was a harrowing feeling, and a worse thought, but he tried to ignore it. His mind was already reeling from various revelations, and what he would really like was a nice cup of tea, brandy, something to eat, and a healthy dose of ignoring everyone around him. Of course, there was no where to accomplish that. There was no one to send after tea, all the alcohol seemed to have vanished from this village along with all the life, the common room was crowded (at least by his standards).

He'll spend quite some time rooting around in the pantries in the kitchen for something akin to tea, and once he finds it (green tea of all things, at least by the smell), he'll be waiting impatiently for a kettle over a wood-burning stove, then sitting nearest a window in the common room. All the commotion, and the inability to accept he was attacked by a giant cookie, leave him looking more than a little distraught, though he's doing his best to hide it throughout this entire process.
]

( Room #5 | I thought my roommate days ended with University. I would like that to be the case )
[When he enters the room, it's obvious it's shared. There are two bunk bed, the bottom one on the right clearly unused. He assumes this one is meant for his use. If he wasn't so exhausted, he'd go back downstairs and ask for a more private room, if at all possible, but he had no money here, and was in position to make demands. Having a bed was better than no, no matter where it might be.

He'd been in a position of having no bed in the past. This was preferable.
]

More like the lesser of two evils.

[He muttered a response to his own thoughts into the room at large. He was still stunned by the evening's events, his senses were still dulled by the lack energy in this place, and hasn't noticed if anyone else has come in.]

Who:Everyone
What: Kiara thought she might as well welcome people in the best way possible. By giving them cookies. However she isn't such a nice person. So now there are 20-30ft cookies roaming around.
When: June 13th - 20th
Warnings: Violence on cookies.

[Kiara lingered over a spell book in her grasp. She had wanted to welcome more people, but so far she had only seen three and all of those had such potential for her benefit. She just needed to welcome more. Perhaps a nice little welcome present would do? Pausing on a page, she had found a way to possibly draw people to her.

So with a wave of her hand, a puff of smoke appeared and suddenly a cookie appeared in her hand. People liked those things didn't they? Maybe she should give them cookies and get them to come on over.

Gathering what she needed she had drawn out the spell, muttering the words that were needed. In the village smoke was slowly drawing in, the atmosphere slowly dropping, getting even darker. After a minute the smoke suddenly disappears and all that was left were...giant cookies wondering around.

What are they? How did they get here? No matter the question the cookies look like they are hunting down people who are working for Lucian or Neutral.]
