Attack on Cookies
Who:Everyone
What: Kiara thought she might as well welcome people in the best way possible. By giving them cookies. However she isn't such a nice person. So now there are 20-30ft cookies roaming around.
When: June 13th - 20th
Warnings: Violence on cookies.
[Kiara lingered over a spell book in her grasp. She had wanted to welcome more people, but so far she had only seen three and all of those had such potential for her benefit. She just needed to welcome more. Perhaps a nice little welcome present would do? Pausing on a page, she had found a way to possibly draw people to her.
So with a wave of her hand, a puff of smoke appeared and suddenly a cookie appeared in her hand. People liked those things didn't they? Maybe she should give them cookies and get them to come on over.
Gathering what she needed she had drawn out the spell, muttering the words that were needed. In the village smoke was slowly drawing in, the atmosphere slowly dropping, getting even darker. After a minute the smoke suddenly disappears and all that was left were...giant cookies wondering around.
What are they? How did they get here? No matter the question the cookies look like they are hunting down people who are working for Lucian or Neutral.]

KARRIN MURPHY | @/AROUND INN | OPEN
Karrin almost started to think ‘what would Harry do?’ but then scrapped that train of thought. There were children here among those who woke up and to her knowledge Harry’s ward around the inn will only combat shadows, not cookies.
She holsters her gun and picks up a thin sword shaped piece of wood that she’s been using for basic defense. She then steps around the common room of the inn, her expression stern.]
Reinforce the windows and make sure that everyone is inside.
[This is really the only place they can mount a defense and she’s going to make sure that its strong enough to last the waves of cookies though she has no idea if the cookies will try to get inside of the inn.]
They might not come here but they’re targeting those who woke up here. [She wishes she had a head count of those who arrived here, anything to make sure that everyone is safe and out of the path of the lumbering giant confectionaries. After things at the Inn are handled she’ll step outside the front door and see if there is anyone having trouble with the large cookies.]
no subject
[Although as she had spoke she had instead grabbed her staff and was running outside in order to join in and help the other should she asked for it.]
I know I should be helping with the windows, but I think I can help.
no subject
I think there are enough people wandering around. Let's both reinforce the windows but keep a lookout for anyone coming this way. We need to make sure it's safe for those who are out there.
[She is hoping those who are wandering around are prepared for a fight.]
no subject
Okay, but where is the wood? Also there is a cookie coming in closer.
no subject
[They'll still be usable as tables after the fact but they need something and Karrin is quick to think of the easiest solution. Once these cookies are dealt with they'll fix any damage.
Peoples safety comes first.]
I'll handle this one.
[She takes the piece of wood in her hands and holds up out in front of her. Her feet remain spaced apart and she waits for the cookie to step closer. There is only a fraction of a second before Karrin rolls away from it, striking beneath it and watching a part of it crumble away. It's still coming but it's at least a little smaller.]
no subject
As she tried to push the tables, but they weren't exactly the lightest. The cookies had come somewhat closer, but had stopped just outside the line of where the light hit.]
Is everything okay out there?
no subject
[Murphy moves again, her sword raising up beneath the large cookie to chip away at it. It takes time but against one Murphy is able to hold it together. She's happy that there weren't more of them. Her makeshift sword, as the cookie crumbles, is snapped in two.
So she tosses it to the side as she steps inside.]
I need to find a better weapon.
no subject
[Since she did have some items and such that could help anyway, but she had managed to slightly move the table to the window.]
no subject
[Karrin looks over at her, her brows furrowed. She looks so young.]
I'm sorry I can't let you get in the way of danger if I can help it. [She knows she can't protect everyone alone but they're either working together or she's staying back. Karrin doesn't want to see children get hurt. One of the reasons she fights is to make sure that others don't have to.]
Let's hold up in the Inn. Harry will most likely get to the root of the cookies and we need to stay safe. [She'll find a weapon when she can.]
no subject
[She was an Adventurer after all, or at least had been even for her age. But she had wanted to because of her mother.]
But I guess staying in for everyone right now is a good idea too.
no subject
I don't doubt that. [Her voice is soft and kind.] But it's my job to keep people safe and I won't let anything bad happen to you.
[Karrin smiles.]
We'll all have to fight but let's be smart about it too okay? Going out alone in the dark isn't smart. You can help me defend this location and then those who are out there have a safe place to come too. Okay?
[She hopes that the girl understands where she's coming from. She knows that no one has to listen to her here.]
no subject
[She nodded, she understood, but deep down she did want to go out at some point. Explore a little bit. But maybe after this is all over.]
no subject
You’ll have time. For now it’s better if we stay safe.
[She assumes that there is something more to this girl and if they are to work together they need to know each other’s strengths.]
What sort of combat are you used too?
no subject
[She looked out the window. It seems like they were keeping away so far.]
no subject
You should speak to Harry then. You have that in common. [She looks over at the girl curiously.] Can you use your magic on weapons?
If I were to find a sword could you make it stronger against magical things?
[She needs to find a sword first or at least something like it. She really wishes there were more things around them.]
no subject
[She was tempted to try and expand her alchemy and see what else she could do, so long as she could find the right books.]
Totooria is so cute! It's melting Murphs heart lol
I don’t know how to make weapons but I’ll need a sword [Made of metal.] if more of these things are to show up.
If you could make it more effective against the darkness that would help.
[She smiles at the girl.]
no subject
[She thinks she should experiment first before she can say anything for certain and take notes when she gets soemthing right.]
I'll let you know if I manage.
no subject
I'll look forward to it.
Thank you.
