Welcome to the darkness. We've got fun and games.
Who: Everyone
What: People arrive in a new world, as to why or how they get there is a mystery. But that light at the only building with light might shed answers.
When: June 4th
Warnings: Violence depending on where the characters go.
Arrival
[The vast darkness appears before those who arrive. Nothing but dark buildings for miles. The wind was cold and the noise was non existent. Where were the people, was there even people around? There might be questions, but perhaps if one were to look they'll find something out.]
Inn
A) Entrance: Meeting Asha
[There appeared to be a light on a rather large building. Torches adorned the walls of the building keeping whatever creatures lie in the shadows away. The light within made the place seem warm and homely, maybe even peaceful. If one were to go closer they would notice a young woman sweeping the entrance, she didn't seem like the other people. Cold, mean and keeping to themselves. She appeared slightly chipper even in the dark times.
When she had finished sweeping, she had looked up, looking slightly surprised before realising that they aren't like the normal people here.]
Oh! Hi there. You aren't from around here, are you?
B) Inn Rooms
[The nice cozy rooms were complete with four bed. The rooms with odd numbers appeared to have bunk beds, but it mean more room while the even numbered rooms seem to have four single beds but less room. The curtains were closed as it was always dark and there was a bathroom attached to every room.]
Out in the wasteland (Both mingle with other characters and meeting Lucian)
Meeting Lucian
[Wasteland as far as the eye could see. However the only thing that wasn't sand was a young man ruffling his blonde hair and not looking overly amused. He was sure the spell should have worked, but yet here he was with nothing before him.
With a sigh he went to knelt down, checking over each and every symbol that he had drawn to make sure that he had made no mistakes.]
There didn't seem to be anything wrong. Maybe that witch had something to do with it not working.
Mingle
[Shadows moved across the floor, toward some unsuspecting person who had decided to go for a wonder without a form of lightly. They appeared hungry and you were the lunch. Claws extending they were going to swipe and hope they get them.]
Forest: Meeting Kiara
[Branches fall off the already dead trees. A older looking woman sat watching any who enter, a small smirk passing by her lips and her fingers wrapped tightly around her staff. She figured she might as well speak to them. Maybe have fun and maybe even more so, get people on her side.]
Hello my little lost souls? What wish are you searching for?

Hello my little lost souls? What wish are you searching for?
Karrin Murphy || Open
[Seeing the womans smile doesn't put Karrin at ease. She holds out her hand for the woman to shake as she introdcues herself.]
Detective Sergeant Karrin Murphy of the Chicago PD Special Investiagtions Unit. I was wondering if I could please ask you a few questions. You are the owner of this establishment correct?
[There were a lot of questions buzzing through Karrin's head. She wants to use one of the abandoned buildings as a police station and perhaps find a way to run electricity or capture light to keep other buildings safe. She wants to know what happened here and what they can do to help as well as return to their respective homes. How they got here presses to the forefront of her mind as well and then there is the nagging familiarity of the shadows here. Where are they coming from?
This isn't like the Nevernever but there is something about this place that she's determined to uncover. Not only that she's seen children arriving here as well which is unacceptable as far as she's concerned.]
Room 8 | Open
[She's happy to see that the room is relatively normal. There isn't a lot of space thanks to the four beds lining the walls but that doesn't really bother Karrin. Just like her home in Chicago, this room will be used for sleeping more than anything else. She wishes she had a desk or an office but she'll make do with what she has.
She shrugs out of her jacket and pulls off her shoulder holster, placing her gun on the bed. She has a problem with a lack of bullets and she thought about possibly obtaining a sword to use to fight off the shadows that stalk the darkness.
Karrin hears the door nob turn and her eyes move to watch whomever might step through.]
Questioning those at the Inn | Open
[After speaking with the woman she moves around to speak to those who've also found themselves in this place. She decides to shorten her greeting to those around her, hoping that she might be able to help ease the tension she feels buzzing through the room.]
Hello. [She'll greet anyone new with a smile.] Detective Murphy. I wanted to ask you some questions. Mostly about what you were doing before you woke up here.
Wild Card
[ooc: Feel free to PM me if you want to do something or hit Karrin up wherever!]
@ the Inn
The human who spoke to him was small, and he didn't look impressed as he looked down at her.]
You're a cop?
@ the Inn
That's right.
[Bright baby blue eyes watch him closely, she's gets a pretty good read on people and his question isn't one she's completely unfamiliar with but it makes her interested.]
I'm hoping to find out how we arrived her. Do you remember anything?
[She repeats the question coolly.]
@ the Inn
Be blinks, brow furrowing at the small human.]
No. [That's not exactly true. Johnathan said to be helpful.] Yes. I remember traveling, then I woke up.
@ the Inn
So you were awake.
[Karrin flips open a book and begins to write.]
Do you remember a change of scenery or perhaps a specific smell?
@ the Inn
[Dark eyes flit toward the door, then back to the mini-cop.]
And there were lots of new smells.
@ the Inn
[She looks up at him undaunted by his size.]
If not it's fine. Anything can help me learn more.

Room 8
He made his way to the room to which he had a key and stopped short when he saw who as there already.
A smile slowly spread across his face as he stepped in and closed the door behind him. When he spoke, his voice dripped with saccharine.]
Karrin, if you wanted to get me alone, you know you only had to ask.
Room 8
Shut it Harry.
[She finishes pulling off her holster and then turns to sit on the corner of her bed.]
Good thing I don't have my phone with me.
Room 8
What can I say, Murph? I've got a gift.
Room 8
As she takes a seat she looks over at Harry, her gaze firm and serious.]
Joke's aside. [She begins in an even voice before kicking off her shoes.] What do you think of this place?
Room 8
I think we're in the aftermath of a war someone dragged us into, and I'm going to do my best to figure out who. And why.
[He looks around.]
And first, I'm going to try to put together what I'll need to ward this place. The torches are nice, but not exactly foolproof.
Room 8
Let me know if I can help. I'll be trying my best to figure out who and why also. [They do, after all, have different means.]

Entrance
[Or at least give hints, he knew she had limits on answering questions, or in some cases she wouldn't be aware of.]
Entrance
[Murphy only knows her way of handling things and that's how she plans to continue to handling things.]
And Thank you. [This situation isn't unusual for Karrin but it is uncomfortable.] Have people arrived here before?
Entrance
[She shakes her head slightly.]
Not as far as I am aware. [And she only knows so far back anyway.] Your the first new people here.
Entrance
I can take a guess and assume that you don't know how we were brought here either. Is everyone who lives here take residence at this Inn?
Entrance
[She paused looking over slightly.]
No... the natives kind of refuse to come in here so business has not really been a thing.
Entrance
The inn is the only place I saw with light. How would others live outside of it?
[What are the shadows?]

Questioning
Uh, well... I had just won a tournament and gained what I needed to help me with something. Though how exactly dos that question help in anyway?
Questioning
She nods her head at his information before smiling at the boy.]
We were taken and brought to this world in different ways. I don't know what could have caused it and the best way to find out is to determine the common link between those who've arrived.
[Always thinking like a detective.]
Some were awake, others asleep and no one can remember what happened which means that it wasn't at all disorientating.
Questioning
[Sure that part was a complete blank, but he at least knew he had memory problems, but that was just him.]
Questioning
[It's frustrating when she's searching for answers and people start trying to question her. They need information, not to talk in circles about what's going on. That's Harry's job.]
So you don't remember anything from your home and waking up here? Where do you live? Even small details will help.
Questioning
[He knows she means just before he arrived here, but she did ask where he lived and that was in itself a complicated thing.]
I know where I came from before I came here, but where I lived and that are two different places.
Questioning
I'm sorry. I mostly meant if it was from the same plan or world as me. I've experiance with other places but I don't know how vast it is.
[She hadn't meant to peer into something personal.]
