[Well, Lucian had little to no idea as to what happened. The people that had been summoned here had suddenly disappeared and all his thoughts went to Kiara. She would resort to getting rid of people in one certain way, but he knew it would take some time to not only figure out where, but to get everything he needed in order to fix said problems.

Giving a slight sigh he was starting to wonder away from the usual village where they had first appeared and started to head North instead.]

[Lucian sighed slightly. There was really none of the normal people in sight. That was quite worrying to say the least. Giving a slight sigh of relief, he knew she must of had something to do with it.

As he continued to walk, he soon found himself stopping, looking over.]

Uh... Hi. I've not seen you both around here before.

[Alice turns towards Isaac, her eyes shining in the darkness around them. She studies him for a moment before nodding her head.]

It's from a book where a girl travels to a new world through a rabbit hole. [Simple enough explanation though her voice has the tone of someone who's used to being a teacher.

Her gaze then moves to the other man approaching. His words imply something more though Alice isn't in a comfortable enough position to simply guess his meaning.]

You don't sound surprised. What is this place? Who else is around here?

Y-yeah. Alice in Wonderland, right?

[It was written centuries ago, but it wasn't a story that died. Isaac started at the arrival of this other guy. If he was honest, he just wasn't that used to running into this many people in weird places.

Not living people, anyway. Looking to her, he nods.]

Those are all good questions.

Well I live in this world, so surprises for me are rare.

[He looked over slightly.]

But as for who is around no, one. I mean there were people before, but they vanished. I assume another world or something. Like you two. Different worlds but now here.

[His first sentence doesn't make much sense to Alice since she has no basis of comparison for this world. She's only just arrived and has yet to even know that the sky remains dark no matter the time.]

If you aren't surprised I can assume this happens often? Where they returned home or sent somewhere else completely?

[She has a sinking feeling that something wouldn't bring them here only to return them home.]

[Isaac idly takes into consideration the fact that he's not really bothered that he's standing here, talking to two people he's never met before, in a dark, dead environment and that he's suddenly not where he was before. It's almost normal. That...can't be good.]

You don't seem too worried about it.

Well the people arriving thing is new, but not surprising since that was something I did.

[That he at least owns up to, as he was still thinking of something.]

I'm awfully worried. Since it wasn't me that did anything, but if what I believe happened did, I know of a way to find the people. But I might need help.

[He sighed slightly. he was meant to ask for help, but he still was not use to actually asking.]

If I take you to a city where what I need is, I'll need help gathering things to create a way to go to where ever they are and bring them back.

[Alice listens carefully but she finds herself filling in the blanks as this stranger flows from one topic to the next. He brought people here but he's worried. It definately sounds as if something else is happening and while she can gather it's bad and happy to help she'd like more of an explanation.]

So you brought us here now. [She clarifies in a soft and gentle voice.] And you had brought others before that were taken somewhere else? This form of transportation, is it between states or something more fantastic?

[Her accent thickens at the end of her sentence making it obvious to anyone from Earth that she's English.] Not to say I... [She glances over at Isaac and a knowing smile tugs at her lips.] We aren't willing to help but knowing more will help us assist you better. If you'd like we can speak as we walk towards this city.

How are you going to make something to go wherever these other people are if you don't even know where that is?

[Isaac's mind worked in circles of logic when he was puzzling out a problem. Figuring out where these mysterious other people were seemed like the best first step. He was already, clearly either far from where he was a moment ago, or stuck inside his own head. Was he even making any sense right now?]
