01 ; Stranger Than Cookies.
Test; Location: Field.
06/18/2016
[A lone figure sits within the vast plans, where dry grass stirs; shifted by unsteady winds. Towards the center of this gale the turbulence dies away. There is a soft glow of fire circling the shadow, spanning out in a yard radius around his unmoving form.
Johnathan sits with his palms pressed to the earth and his legs curled beneath him. His eyes are closed as he inhales a slow breath feeling the gentle magic of the earth as he pulls and tests what’s available. He begins to feed life into the earth, though it’s only borrowed from the wind and does little to heal the wound left by the dead forest.
If you step into his storm he’ll feel it and you’ll find dark brown eyes watching you.]
Sad Memories; Location: Anywhere.
06/15/2016
[There isn’t a sanctuary here, no where he can go that might sooth the tension in his shoulders or ease the rolling nausea in his stomach. So Johnathan wanders looking up at the sky as if expecting a light to appear that might hold an answer that he hasn’t been able to find for a hundred years.
A face, bright and happy, flashes in his head and he pushes it away. A voice like honey and silk tugs at his memory, etching anger into his brow as the thoughts refuse to relent.
Johnathan feels the presence of the shadow before it gets close enough to strike and in a fluid motion his silver dagger flicks from his fingertips, and sinks into the dark creature. He watches it shutter, fall and fade as he walks to retrieve his blade, sliding it back into its discrete location at his hip.]
Roommate troubles; Location: Inn
06/17/2016
[It doesn’t take Johnathan long to find out that his son has been placed in his room. He has no doubt that the man will choose to remove himself and find another room but it’s still a matter that has to be handled with some delicacy.
He wishes now more than ever that he could drink.
Johnathan sits in the common room of the inn, a heavy sigh falling from his lips as he peers out a window and into the darkness. This is awkward and Johnathan finds himself in the rare position where he’s at a loss for words.]
Dark Side; Location: Forest (Closed to Kiara)
06/19/2016
[He assumes if he wanders with the intent to find the woman that she’ll appear. Perhaps the shadows or the cookies can carry a message for him. He turns towards the darkness and speaks as if speaking to a person.]
I’ll be makin’a deal with you lass.
[There is only one thing he really wants, the forest, though he won’t say no to liquor which he might try and get added in as a bonus. Johnathan doesn’t care which side he’s on. There is only one thing that has his full affection that equally loves him back and it’s the earth.]

Sad Memories
She really was bad at this werewolf thing. She saw his expression, though, and immediately notes there's something deeply bothering him.]
That was pretty good. [And that was a lame compliment.] Are...you okay?
Sad Memories
As good as I'll be little Cat.
[He glances down at her pajamas, his brows furrowing.]
Shouldn't ye be getting some real clothes to wear?
[He doesn't mind talking about Corbin. The boy is here and it's difficult to hide their relation considering how alike they are but Constance is a different matter. She is a bleeding piece of him from his past and it isn't the sort of thing he wants to share.]
Sad Memories
I do, but I'll manage. [She always does, somehow.]
What's wrong?
Sad Memories
It's nothing for a cute little Cat to worry her pretty head about. [His voice is thick and he coughs before continuing.]
I just be thinkin'
Sad Memories
You know, Johnathan...I'm not very good at being a werewolf...you...probably noticed. But, I'm really good at taking care of people, and if we were Shaped to take care of things, maybe I can help take care of a Shaper.
[She smiles, somewhat proudly.]
I'm a really good listener, and you look like you need someone to listen.
Sad Memories
Aye little Cat, I’ve noticed. [He says this in a very gentle tone.] But I see ye ain’t be lettin’ this go without a hand in it.
[Johnathan exhales, running his fingers through his already messy hair.]
It be a long story lass and during a time where ye be no more than a twinkle in yer father’s eye.
Sad Memories
Sad Memories
Admitting this to someone might be seen as a weakness though Johnathan doesn't think so. He'll have her sympathy and considering her affection for her brother he supposes he can do worse and still be forgiven. These thoughts are just the way his mind works and using that logical he relents and agrees.]
Alright lass, you win. [He releases a heavy sigh.] Tea will be fine though I'd prefer something a might stronger.
[Johnathan presses his hands into his pocket as he follows behind Cat. He'd prefer if they do talk it's in private.]
I told ye before, though I donnea be tellin' you the date. I was born in 1798. When things were very simple. I donnea remember my mother. I knew my father loved her because her death left him missing somethin' [Something he later learned to understand.] He never spoke of her but it be just as well. You cannea miss someone ye never known.
[Johnathan shrugs but continues.] In 1842 my father died, burned and be trying to burn me and the town with him. Afterward' I left to the wood. [This is where his story really begins but he looks over towards Cat to make sure she's really ready to hear it. Johnathan feels respect for his father more than love. The man hadn't been a loving person after his mother passed.]
